Use reports
Early Regression Guard reports turn individual runs and findings into reviewable release trends. Use Outcome for release risk and Usage for adoption, release coverage, and verification activity.

What reports are for
Early Regression Guard reports help you move from one analysis result to a broader operating view. Instead of opening each run or finding one by one, use reports to answer whether release outcomes are improving and whether the team is using Regression Guard consistently enough to support release readiness decisions.
| Decision question | Start with | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| What release risk remains? | Outcome report | Open regressions, closed outcomes, and release outcome trends. |
| Are findings getting resolved? | Outcome report | Finding totals, open counts, and closure outcomes. |
| Is Regression Guard being used consistently? | Usage report | Processed runs, release coverage, projects analyzed, and verification observations. |
| Did enough analysis run for a review? | Usage report | Verification activity for the selected reporting period. |
Outcome report
The Outcome report focuses on release risk. It shows finding totals, open and closed outcomes, and trends across the selected period and release scope.
Use it when you need to explain what Early found, how much remains open, and how the team closed prior findings.
Usage report
The Usage report focuses on verification activity. It shows processed runs, release coverage, projects analyzed, and verification observations across the selected reporting period.
Use it when you need to understand adoption, release coverage, or whether teams are running analysis often enough to support release decisions.
